Management Accountant
Our client is seeking a talented Management Accountant to support its continued growth across a dynamic, multi‑site environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded accountant who enjoys partnering with operational teams and influencing financial performance in a fast‑paced, service‑led business.

Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts & Reporting
• Prepare accurate monthly management accounts for multiple sites
• Deliver clear variance analysis with insight into occupancy, revenue, costs, and profitability
• Support month‑end processes including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintain strong financial integrity and alignment with Group reporting standards
Budgeting & Forecasting
• Support annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts across all divisions
• Work closely with General Managers and Operations to understand revenue drivers and cost pressures
• Provide financial modelling and scenario analysis for pricing, new site openings, and investment decisions
Commercial & Operational Analysis
• Analyse revenue, occupancy, margins, and KPIs to identify performance opportunities
• Support commercial teams with pricing, renewals, and profitability analysis
• Provide actionable insight to drive efficiency, cost control, and service excellence
Business Partnering
• Build strong relationships with Operations, Sales, Client Experience, and Senior Leadership
• Present financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
• Support the Finance Director with strategic initiatives, investment appraisals, and performance improvement projects
Controls, Compliance & Process Improvement
• Ensure adherence to financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting
• Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives using technology
• Promote a culture of financial discipline and operational accountability
Skills & Experience
Essential
• Bright part‑qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA preferred; CIMA considered)
• Strong experience in management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly
• High attention to detail with a proactive, problem‑solving approach
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment
• Commercial mindset with the ability to identify revenue opportunities
Desirable
• Experience with ERP/finance systems (NetSuite, Dynamics, Xero)
• Exposure to budgeting and forecasting in multi‑entity or multi‑location businesses
